The
Sixth Annual Rogue River Clean-up was the most successful clean-up ever!
Over 60
volunteers came out to help with the event, filling hundreds of bags of
litter from the Rockford Dam to Childsdale Ave. We found everything
from traffic cones to old steel beer cans to tires and oil drums! All thanks to the amazing people that came out to help, you've made a great impact in your community!
We'd like to say a big THANK YOU to AAA Canoe Rental, B.C. Pizza
of Belmont, Celebration! Cinema, the Coopersville & Marne Rwy., The
Corner Bar and D&W Food Center of Rockford for their generous
donations!
We're looking forward to even bigger things later this year and in 2012...see YOU then!

About The Rogue River Project
The Rogue River Project was established in May of 2005 with one simple mission: to clean up the Rogue River and restore it's natural beauty. As an avid angler on the river I became very concerned with the heath of the river and decided to take action! Since then more than 200 volunteers have joined us in various clean up projects, from cleaning up the grounds around the Rockford Dam to the annual 3+ mile river clean up! This year I hope you too will join us...you can make a big difference in our community! I cannot thank everyone that has helped out over the years enough for their help and ongoing support, without them the Rogue River Project would not be possible!
